Love love love!! This post filled me up with joy. My enneagram four brain really could just copy and paste all your thoughts into mine and they'd be identical. Hah!

Yay comics!! They're great!

I've just dipped into Enneagram this year and also find it so helpful. (I'm a 3! It's been really interesting to let myself admit my ambition and try to untangle my impressing-people instincts from my deep-soul-needs while realizing the impressing thing *is* part of me).

I'm also learning a lot about sitting in discomfort this summer, which has not been fun, but has been necessary.

I'm not even sure if this counts as a comic, but we're rolling with it. Excited to keep practicing!!

Okay, I wish I had some of your 3-ness! I think type 3 was my lowest score. That's amazing that you're learning to own your ambition as a core part of who you are. On the flip side, I'm trying to learn how to be ambitious. 😅

I'm sorry about the discomfort — I'm right there with you.

I think at it's core, ambition is you asking "what kind of life do I want?" and then taking steps to get there. It sounds like you're doing that!

One resource that's been really helpful for me is Elise Joy's writing on goal setting--she talks some about asking 'how do I want to FEEL?' instead of 'what do I want to DO?' and I find it so helpful! She wrote a whole book on goal setting if you're on the hunt for goal stuff: https://www.elisejoy.com/book

Love these questions — this morning I journaled answering "how do I want to feel" and it was so eye-opening. Thank you for sharing!! Very much on the hunt for goal stuff and am excited to check out Elise Joy's writing!
