Great analogy! And I love the needlepoint you’re doing. You can use masking tape folded in half around the edges like seam binding to keep it from fraying…maybe the mindfulness of stitching is why I’ve always loved it.

Thank you for the reminder to tend to my own soil, and for the very kind mention, Maryn!!

Isn't it funny (or not so funny sometimes) how the mind tells we can't do things (or do them "successfully") before we even try! This is the theme over and over again for myself as a human and all of my clients. Once we just try the thing, then we have accurate info to use to move on from there and take the next step! I'm so glad that you tried the repotting and that your plant is healing - huzzah! I had an ant infestation in one of my plants a couple years ago and she's finally thriving again but it took some time. Trust, action, patience (rinse and repeat).

Hang in there! Repotting yourself is brutal but worth it (as you already know!)

Love your shared needlepoint pursuit. These days I'm playing with sewing AND I just joined a climbing gym, which is so fun--I forgot how satisfying it can be to have sore muscles in new places, haha!

Thank you 🤍🤍🤍 So exciting about the climbing gym!! I won a climbing class and some passes to our local climbing gym last year and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. It's a really special sport ✨

Needlepointing is my new mindfulness practice — it's so satisfying! And takes forever! Practicing mindfulness and developing patience all in one 🫶
