On love and asparagus

If I had to pick my top three vegetables, asparagus would absolutely be on the list, but not for reasons you might think.
Yes, asparagus is delicious! But I actually love asparagus for this reason: I find it hilarious that it changes the smell of your pee.
My husband Freddy knows this about me. Each year for my birthday, he makes me a special birthday dinner. For one such dinner, he went out of his way to include, you guessed it, asparagus.
All so I could experience the joy of asparagus pee. I think that’s true love.
What are your feelings about asparagus pee? Are there other vegetables or foods that change the smell of your pee that I should know about it? Is this totally weird to admit about myself? What are some funny/weird ways you have been shown love?

I've long thought it would be hilarious to host a dinner party with both asparagus and beets on the menu to change smell AND color of pee.
I also LOVE asparagus, but I didn't know about the pee effect until just a couple months ago. I don't know how I never noticed it before because now I can't stop noticing it!
I always say that I knew it was true love when I got food poisoning SUPER bad about a month into a our marriage. I was disgusted by myself and couldn't imagine my new husband could stand to be around me. But he very kindly rubbed my back, swapped out my puke bowls, and held my hair out of the way while I threw up for the millionth time. And that's how I knew it was true love. Romance is nice but it's easy to love someone when they are all dolled up and on their best behavior, but true love is standing by you, when you are puking out your nose.
